MARTIN BARLOW, of Canberra, is bringing his ex-Prime Minister's Caprice to the Nationals.  This car was formerly used by Bob Hawke and Paul Keating and, no doubt has carried some illustrious VIPs too. Martin posted on the HSCCA forum: "Looking forward to spending some more time with my VQ. This week marked 24 years since I bought it at the Government auctions in Canberra. Decided to take it for a run this morning and clocked up more kms than its done in the 12 months prior.

THIS GERMAN variant of the Caprice is, for me, a love/hate. Love the ass but hate the front. In 2007, Bitter resumed small-scale production by launching the Vero at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. This car was derived from the Australian-made Holden Caprice (WM) sedan (the long-wheelbase luxury derivative of the Holden Commodore (VE)), believed to be purchased directly from Holden thanks to Erich Bitter's friendship with Holden's former Peter Hanenberger.
