Macquarie Pass

  • Macquarie Pass Cruise with Xania Smith

This wonderful photo came from a cruise taken by one of our NSW friends Sammi Chman, for Xania Smith.

The water-crossing at the bottom of the drive provides a spectacular photo opportunity.  In fact there are many on this cruise.

The Macquarie Pass is an eight-kilometre-long section of the Illawarra Highway passing through Macquarie Pass National Park. It was opened in 1898, though had been used by the Wodi Wodi tribe.

Brendan Wilcox's beast on the same cruise getting his "feet wet". Great fun.  We hear the next cruise by this group will be in the Port Stephens area.
